The Collector’s Edition has a really cute cover and comes with a “Clow card” of one of the characters. I was a fan of the anime series growing up, but I did not read the manga. CLAMP’s art style and design are iconic though. I think they cleaned up the series to make it more palatable to kids back then, so reading the manga was surprising with the allusions to same-sex relationships. The only thing I didn’t enjoy with the source material is how they approached the age gaps in relationships.

This was a solid first volume! Sakura is an endearing character and her interactions with Touya are funny and heartwarming. I recommend this if you want a lighthearted series and a lovable heroine.

Cortito y entretenido, super recomendable.

somehow tomoyo having a crush on her youngest cousin, a trait which she inherited from her mother, still makes more sense than tomoyo having a crush on touya (her other cousin)
