This sequel finds our intrepid triad working through some big changes in their relationship including shifting dynamics and attractions and mysterious new powers. The previous book left a lot of threads hanging and I am glad this picks those back up. A lot of those threads are still hanging and look to be series-long plots but there's definite movement here.

Holley knows how to deliver proper levels of steam and angst combined with believable communication or lack thereof. Definitely recommend.

This series is growing on me and I really want All The Stories! These characters are so interesting and the humor and snark hits a sweet spot.

I liked this advancement of the storyline. Watching Harvey, Ollie, and Tess work through their growing feelings and powers was lovely. I loved the way they dealt with the emotional end rather than just jump into bed and work the rest out later.

Book 2 was enjoyable ! Harvey and Ollie are trying to navigate their attraction to each other while Tess has to work through some insecurities about that. Of course they work it out and the triad moves forward and are steamy together.
I liked that Tess and her guys are still trying to figure out their new roles as Queen ans Chieftains of their people, it's not an easy task and is a lot of times the source of internal conflict. They're still trying to sort of the case of their missing people and now they have a fairy queen to contend with too!!
Add in Nadia's story building in the not quite background (i love her!!) We learn who her LIs are and yup she's gonna have two as well and her reactions to the guys being present is sooo hilarious because Nadia is usually so unflappable but becomes this ball of nerves when Thom and Jeff are around heheh. Cant wait to read her story.
Also Jeff, Ollie's bestie brought a foster kitten with him. So much cute. And the kitten's name is Destructo lol.
I did feel the story was dragging a bit towards the end their but then bam Otama returns to shake things up.
So i liked this one and will be reading more in the series :)
