Eh. I acquired this book because my dad likes to putter around on EBay and find odd books to give as gifts. This one intrigued because the author’s last name is the same as ours (but as far as I know, we’re not related). I didn’t particularly like this poetry collection (sorry Dad). Many poems reminded me of the scene in She’s All That where Laney describes a painting she’s done that represents a genocide she read about and the art teacher basically tells her that the work doesn’t represent Laney’s actual artistic sensibility.
