I'm a little torned up about my rating...it's not a 4 and it's not a 3...

I really liked Quinn when I first started reading this book...and then...she was so f***** dramatic...with how she pushed everything in and away..

She was so snarky with her friends and her ''enemies'' but with her parents..I would so tell her father off....but she just kept her mouth shut...really? He was such a hypocrit you know..

Ben was ok..I guess...just his mother annoyed the hell out of me...

So this was an ok read..and in the end...I got what I wanted out of the book :)

I did enjoy the book, just wanted it to be a touch steamier. This read a lot like YA to me and not so much like New Adult.

I do plan on reading the sequel though!

Liked Quinn's attitude. I like that she fucked up. Wish there was more action than sulking. And a more complete ending, especially one were Ben's mom can suck it.

There were parts I liked about this book. It was realistic for the most part - the characters are human and make mistakes. But at the same time, it was predictable. Editing was awful - misspelled words, missing words, bad punctuation - and as an English teacher it made me feel like I was reading one of my students' papers. Somewhat. Because the other issue I have with the book is all the language, sexual overtones and drug use. I get that teens aren't saints. I teach them every day. But young adult books do not always have to contain language this did - the F word, for example was prominent and not necessary. And seriously, using "effing" is the same thing. I'm skipping the next book because honestly, I don't care what happens to Quinn and Ben - definitely not enough to plow through another book. On the plus side, it was short and easy to read (how could it not as long as I ignored the very fiber of my being and didn't scream aloud at each grammatical error) and I can count it as one of the 100 books for my goal this year (which, to be blatantly honest, is the only reason why I kept reading).

I really wanted to like this more but by the end I was SO sick of Quinn and tired of the same thing happening over and over and over.

Sweet and entertaining all the way through. I was definitely rooting for the main couple. The ending felt like it was missing something. I would have liked to see Quinn get more closure on things, perhaps get into some sort of help. But despite all her flaws, she was a gorgeous and great MC to follow, and all I wanted the whole way through was for her to get a happy ending.

Unrelated and having no effect on the rating I gave it, but there were several formatting errors and typos that were jarring. Especially quotation marks out of place.

Quinn meets Ben. Ben falls in love with Quinn, Quinn then starts pushing him away from him by making some decisions. The book in my opinion is just ok. Don't think I will ever suggest it to people and will probably never reread it... It just wasn't my cup of tea.

I have been desperate to read this for ages so I ended up buying this a few months ago, and only just reading it now (I am awful at reading books I have purchased for my ipad)

The situation Quinn is in wasn't what I expected, and a lot of times I wanted to make everything better for her. I think she made a huge mistake in what she does that causes her and Ben to split up, but I also think she could have had better friends so she didn't feel the need to pretend her life was perfect for them.

Quick read that I really enjoyed.
