It was nice to have a story about obx to read about.
It def was a good book but it was a litte bit boring sometimes to read about spearfishing, and i also found it very confusing that they where already on the water on page 70 bc when you read the back of the book it says that they’re on the water in the ending.
Also i really liked the part where they sneaked into the hotel and i like Savannah in the beginning but she was so toxic when they were back on the island so I didn’t loved Savannah that much in general and it seemed weird how much JJ thinks like in the netflix series he’s described as someone who says everything out loud and doesn’t give a fuck mostly but in the book hes thinking non-stop mostly about Savannah wich sometimes was really boring to read.
Overall this review maybe seems bad but i would still reccomend it!
❗️DEFINITELY WATCH THE SERIES BEFORE  READING THE BOOK BECAUSE OTHERWISE IT WILL BE CONFUSING❗️

I became obsessed with Outer Banks back in October of last year and when I heard there was going to be a book set in this world, well I knew I had to get it. Even though it is prequel book to the series, I liked the little nods to Sarah Cameron and her future with John B and the rest of them. Her kindness in helping them out of situations or making eye contact with John B tied in nicely. However, my heart broke for JJ. I felt so much for him at the end even though I figured that was what would happen. But at the end of the day, this book was nice insight into John B and JJ's friendship and explains a bit on why they are so close. Definitely a pick for those who love the show and want to read more about our favourite characters!
