This book is a 5 star for me I absolutely loved every single part of it, I was crying I was happy and I was raging mad at times, I’m glad they got their happily ever after.

The warning in the description about this book is not sufficient. It isn’t simply passing mention of abuse and assault there are dedicated scenes turned to sex.
The true storyline of fighting another family for control of the city ends and the remaining 20% off the book is legitimately unnecessary sex scenes which do little to nothing to further the story line.
I have never seen or heard the word knickers used more often. I grew to hate the word during this book. If I had been playing a drinking game maybe the book would have been slightly better or I would have passed out before finishing it.
I do not and will not recommend this to anyone who wants a solid storyline to carry through the entire book, who isn’t into graphic painful sex or if they have any history of any abuse in their past because this book does not give any hope for healing just the impression that abuse makes everyone a monster and there is no escaping it.
