The majority of the book was enjoyable to read. There are a few grammatical errors scattered throughout the novel. Some of the paragraphs were confusing and required re-reading a few times to understand JKs intentions. I liked how the book focused on a lot of smaller details about magical objects and relationships between characters.

As books for teens/young adults go, I wouldn't say this is the best series, but if you're a fan of the movies, I'd absolutely recommend reading the books

One of my favorites, the emotional journey this takes readers is one that won’t soon be forgotten. As with the others, the books progressively grow darker as they need the culmination of the series. Rowling does a fantastic job at accurately portraying young teens and how their minds/emotions work.

This book could also be used as a definite example at how rash decisions, & prejudice can greatly impact our lives.

Harry’s emotions at the end are so real, it brings me to tears every time.

I cheated. I saw all the movies before reading all the books, but it became surprisingly easy to picture the characters without visualizing the cast from the movies. I picture Harry as not as cute and handsome as Daniel Radcliffe, while equally thin, as basically a teenager without much muscle or 'abs.'
The rebellion begins because the Ministry of Magic does not wish to believe that the Dark Lord has returned, so the question is asked..which side of the good side is MORE on the good side?
The ministry begins interfering at Hogwarts in every way imaginable with Harry as their prime suspect for trouble. Thrusting headstrong into an impeccably described battle scene, spanning a good majority of the end of the book, I was literally blown away. The depiction is unfortunately not possible to recreate with modern day technology, so the movie obviously left much to be desired.
