Perfect!

I love seeing the NOLA Rebels fall hard for their women! And the way MacKenzie adds real world issues to her characters is absolutely wonderful. From cheating to libido issues. These characters are perfectly created.

Mackenzy Fox does it again with this one! Harlem is not like his brothers, he has a family to think about and is mostly done with the games. All he wants to do is be a good dad and supportive and take on the challenge that is Indigo, who has her own past that makes her guard everything that is hers. Between ghosts and running a business, the woman has sworn off men and bikers all together... well at least not for long when growing feelings and "needs" become a loud voice in her mind.

Harlem is the "cinnamon" man that I'd be willing to say yes to anything. Indigo is a powerhouse and a fierce woman and a match for our man Harlem. The spice, the dirty talk, the "she's my old lady", to the twists and turns. Even the introductions to the soon to be new couple that is coming next. The NOLA Rebels MC has my heart and certainly there is room in my heart for Harlem. I loved this and am anxious for the next one.

Harlem is apart of the NOLA Rebels MC and has taken a liking to Indigo, the bakery owner. While she is 18 years younger than him, he can help but want her. They are both single parents and juggling a lot, but it doesnโ€™t stop them from wanting one another. But Indigo gives him a run for his money and Harlem doesnโ€™t stop until he makes Indigo his, and keeps his family safe.

Harlem is the definition of a โ€œdaddyโ€. ๐Ÿฅต

He is all alpha male + possessive and I love all the banter between him and Indigo. ๐Ÿซ

But I also love how protective of he is of both her and her daughter. He stops at nothing to keep them both safe. ๐Ÿฅน

This is the fourth book in the NOLA Rebels MC series, but CAN be read as a standalone. No OWD or OMD. No cheating + of course, a HEA. ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป

As the club's enforcer, Harlem is used to maintaining order and getting everyone to fall in line. Well, almost everyone. Indigo Monroe is the one person that refuses to listen to Harlem. She grew up with the president of a motorcycle club and hates bikers because of it. When he bakery is in need of help, she's forced to let the NOLA Rebels buy in, but she's not happy about it. She's even less happy when Harlem is around a lot, a man that infuriates her to no end. As Indigo gets to know more about the single dad biker, her dislike of him starts to turn in to something more.

I've been enjoying this series as each new release comes out. I was excited for this one because of how feisty Indigo is and her dislike of Harlem. Plus, I'm a sucker for a single dad romance. I really enjoyed the first 60% of the book. It was a solid dislike to lovers with great spice (hello daddy kink ๐Ÿ˜). I loved Harlem and the way he was obsessed with Indigo.

However, the story started to go off the rails a bit. The issue was the pacing of the story. Their relationship got accelerated and started to come off very cheesy. Either the story needed to be a bit longer or some things needed to get cut earlier to allow them more time together.

I will say I think we got some good insights into future pairings. I'm hoping Harlem's daughter will end up with one of the guys. Maybe Priest ๐Ÿ‘€

Thank you to Mackenzy Fox for the early copy!

Oh Mackenzy Fox!!! How do you make us fall for these MC men?
I didnโ€™t think I have a #daddykink but this bookโ€ฆGAH!!! Harlem is one gorgeous man inside/out!

Harlem is a single dad of 2 in the MC and will do anything for family!

Indigo is a single mom who owns a bakery shop who wants nothing to do with the MC. She was trying so hard to stay away from daddy Harlem until he wasnโ€™t irresistible.

I devoured this book! Canโ€™t wait for you guys to read it!

Thank you Author Agency for the arc!

Another great book from this series. I loved the dynamic between Indigo and Harlem. And since they were both single parents and a little older, the age gap was sexy and not a point of worry. She kept her guard up (and her bat ready) but our mans wasnโ€™t going to bow out without a fight. ๐Ÿ˜Ž. And the mouth on this man! Gotta love a man who likes to be called Daddy! ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

Although there were a few editing errors (at one point Jonahโ€™s son went from being named Eli to Levi and that made me scratch my head and wonder who the heck they were talking about) the storyline flowed well, and while there is tension, thereโ€™s no major silly point that causes a break up. This couple knows communication is important. Iโ€™m all about that!

While Cash is still my favorite Rebel so far, Harlem is next in line. That being said, Tag is probably going to take the cake! Love me a man who loves him a thick woman. Canโ€™t wait to continue the series!

Indigo is the daughter of a biker and as an adult wants to stay as far from that lifestyle as she can.
Harlem is the single dad and club enforcer who is so far gone for her and her daughter Camille.

After going back and forth after Indi enters into a partnership with the club (fighting/flirting...same thing!) Harlem starts helping Indi in her bakery while his daughter, Stella, is undercover in the bakery for the club to keep an eye on and keep Indi and Camille safe.

I love the banter in this book! Indi is so sassy and bratty, and Harlem is..Harlem. I love him.

Seeing how protective and how far gone for Indi and her daughter is was so sweet. I loved when he literally dropped begging for her forgiveness had me melting! Harlem is such a swoony hero.

I really loved Harlem and Indigoโ€™s story. It might be my favorite of the series. Harlem has been looking out for Indigo and honestly she couldnโ€™t care less about him and the whole club. Sheโ€™s got a past that was awful and has every reason to feel how she does, yet somehow Harlem manages to get under her skin. Harlem was instantly drawn to Indigo even though he tried to fight it. The banter and tension between them was a lot and you could tell it just added fuel to the fire. They also may have had an 18 year age gap but you would have never known. And the mouth in Harlem? Phew.๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ Indigo just had to decide if he was worth letting in. Their story not only had good banter and spice, it was also suspenseful. Already counting down the days for the next book!
