It was definitely an interesting read, I can‘t say how universal all the info was given I‘m probably not trans but it was nice to learn some new things! I especially liked the sections in between chapters about some iconic and talented trans people.
One part that bothered me was the inaccurate definition of aromantic and asexual. A bit frustrating to see that in a book intended to educate about lgbt identities. But since this book was mainly focused on trans identities the mistake fortunately wasn’t in the main focus.

One of those very few times where I went in thinking I knew about the subject matter but was blown away by how much I didn't know! A stunning non fiction read that not only answers pretty much every question you may have but also offers support to young people as a reliable resource on what can be a very sensitive topic for some.

This book is super duper helpful! I have been making more and more friends who do not identify as cisgender so I really wanted to do some work learning about their experiences so I can be better prepared to support and understand them and so they don’t have to do the work of explaining to me.

Good for what it aims to be, I’m not the target audience but it’s a good resource for younger people, I could have used it lol Didn’t focus a lot on nonbinary people. Very jokey/ light conversational tone

Great resource for trans youth. Does include some information about non-binary people and identities, but mainly focuses on binary trans people.
