I definitely enjoyed this one too. Unlike the others in the series, this book was all about the military and politics. The head of SAGCOM makes a deal with the Defense Minister to allow them to use Darklanding as their new weapons training base. Tye Plastes did this to help his daughter Shaunte, who had a much larger role in this episode than at any other point.

I'm not writing a full summary, so let's just say the political intrigue was exciting, Thad and Shaunte's flirting and will they/won't they relationship stuff was fun and the whole story came to a satisfying conclusion. Can't wait to see what happens next.
