I would really give this book 3.5 stars. I enjoyed this book but I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite Colleen Hoover book. I thought that the story line was unique and provided a perspective that some people just don’t understand about poverty and the life people can be forced to live. I appreciate the development. It did find myself wishing for more about Beyahs life during college and the life after the end!

I really enjoyed this book. Definitely one of my favorite CoHo books yet. The love story between Beyah and Samson is so sweet and shows that two broken souls coming together can truly heal each other. This book dives deep into not judging a person based on assumptions from the outside and that you never really know what someone is going through. It also reminds me how grateful I am for parents who have loved me unconditionally since day 1 and have cheered me on. Great story and it made me happy!
