i liked the story, and the characters, and the plot twist, and the friendships/relationships. so many good quotes on this book. i love a spicy book also, and this one didn’t disappoint (though i love that it wasn’t the focus of the story!!!) another slay by Hoover!

Oh man, I got teary-eyed a few times! I haven’t gone through anything that Colleen Hoover puts in her books, but she makes them so damn relatable. Such a beautiful story that all of the judgmental a*holes should read. Just another reminder to be kind, because you never know what people are going through.

The first 50% of the book was so predictable, I thought it was just not for me. About the half-way point, it picked up and had quite a few twists and turns that kept me reading. The ending was heart-warming, and I am glad that there was a happy ending for these two forgotten kids.
