I loved the use of Viking lore in this book. I'm generally not a huge fan of werewolf/vampire stories but I really enjoyed the way the lore and werewolf elements were connected, and I definitely enjoyed this book.

The characters felt very real and almost from the very first page, the story sprinted forward. I kept turning pages and reading on-- I had to know what would happen next. There were definitely some twists that I did not see coming, and I love when an author does that! It added a lot more to the story, especially when I thought back through what had happened and had to reframe everything with the new information that had been revealed.

If you like suspenseful or paranormal stories about werewolves, this is definitely a book to add to your list. Fans of Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater or the Ragnarok Prophecies by A K Morgan should definitely check this book out.
