I am unable to give a rating because the last 400 pages I skimmed. Full reading the important chapters. It has some amazing pieces! But too long and too detailed for me to complete in true. Happy to have attempted. Happy to have finished instead of simply DNFing. Happy for the count. Happy for Morrel and Valentine. Wait and hope :)

Full disclosure. I read this while working and studying for classes. Some of the time, i didn't understand what was going on and got mixed up with the characters and the plot line. But I was ok with that because I was reading simply to read, and I enjoyed it. I hope to read it again sometime when I have more mental energy to put into it. That might increase my star rating. :)
