this book felt like such a chore to read. i finished it because i’d already read so much of the series but i was so close to DNFing it. predictable and anticlimactic, the prologue ruined any tension this book would’ve had.

That was a really satisfying conclusion. It feels too good to be true. Oh gosh I can't believe this is over. That ending, it really came full circle didn't it.

But there were SO MANY HINTS that there might be a second series so... 🤞🏽fingers crossed 🤞🏽

Wow. Wow. Wow.
Was I expecting what happened to happen??
I mean I guess you can presume by the title of the book but...
No words.
This thing got really intense.
Part of me wanted to throw the book, but the other part of me wanted to continue reading it.
How do I describe my feeling when reading this book??
Read it yourself.

From the start of this book, everything was already intense. The previous books did a good job building up to this final one. So from the beginning, a lot was already at stake. I feel like the main characters have little time to breathe before the war.

We, readers, do have a break from the intense situation in New York with the side story. The side story/ plot in this book is very interesting and become worth it at the end. It doesn’t feel like I was reading a side story when I read it.

Well done Chris Colfer for ending it with a bang! I was very sad that the series ended tho, but overall my brain is satisfied.

Absolutely loved it! Still the humourous and witty jokes through out with all the love and adventure like the previous books.
