Me gustó más que el primero, esta vez estamos dentro no de uno sino de 2 psicópatas y eso lo hizo más interesante.

DAMN!!! So intense! Love love love it!!! I usually don't like spicy books but this series is well written. Strong female lead, in control. The sex is not cheesy or off-putting. A.R. Torre is amazing at what she does! Can't wait to read the last book but also sad it's the last book!

This book terrified me, especially, after reading the author's note. Alessandra was really about to fuck us all up. Bless her husband for putting a stop to it lol. I really liked Mike in this one and I really want him and Deanna to meet. I'm glad we got to find out more about him and his backstory. I still liked Jeremy, but not as much. I think I prefer Mike for Deanna. The bad guy in this was scary and disgusting and he got what he deserved. Honestly reading these books makes me want to become a murderous cam girl too like she makes murder sound so fun plus she's making hella cash?? I aspire to be Deanna lol. This series is really good and I'm craving the next one.

Side Note: I didn't read the first book in this series, which is fine for me because I adapt quickly. If you are the kind of person who cannot jump into a book without knowing everything, read these in order.

Deanna Madden is a cam girl with a dark secret -- she yearns to kill. She has shut herself off from the world in her little apartment, earning money through cybersex and shopping online so she never has to leave. But after her adventures in The Girl in 6E (Book 1) she is venturing outside, testing the limits of her self imposed rules.

This book has an interesting premise, but I found myself thinking of the main characters desire to kill as humorous instead of thrilling. I was much more afraid of the john who has a dark obsession, for sure. If you are at all embarrassed by erotica, stay away from this one, the author holds nothing back on this one even though it's not the main storyline.

Note for parents/teachers: Nope. This one was shelved right in the main entrance at my bookstore, available on a seemingly innocent table amongst titles you can feel good about handing to a child. Deceptive, for sure. This one doesn't belong in the hands of your kiddos just yet.

“Death. It is a strange stalker, one that we spend our whole lives running from, some more successful than others.”

Book 1: The Girl in 6E Review ★★★★☆

4 stars. Even better than book one. It starts off really slowly but then things happen and there’s a major shift and the action gets going and it becomes absolutely addicting. The story takes a turn and a bunch of twists that I honestly did not see coming. I just thought that Torre would toe the line but then wouldn’t actually go there but holy hell did she go there. I’m still in shock.

Deanna Madden just might be one of my favorite heroines ever. She’s just such a complex and interesting character. She’s self assured and funny. Independent as hell and she takes no prisoners. Everything about her character just works for me. Her relationship with Jeremy, while just like in the first book, takes a back seat to the overall story but I did really enjoy seeing them together more. Also, getting to know a bit more about Jeremy was great since I think he’s an interesting character as well, we just need to get his perspective more.

I loved the Mike chapters and getting to know him. He was, besides Deanna, easily my second favorite character in this book. Even though he made some dumbass decisions, he still came across as very likable and relatable. Also, his sort of girlfriend, but not really is named Jamie and I got a kick out of that even though she was dumb as a doorknob.

I think the subject matter of the first book was darker but this book this one still had me on edge and had me low-key never wanting to get on the internet again. I’m so excited to get to the next book and see what crazy adventure Deanna goes on next, especially after the events of this book.
