A really fun take on the magical girl genre! The art style and pacing is very similar to a cartoon. I did find the characters a bit exhausting over the course of the novel as they're more caricature than people I could really relate to, but it kept the action moving well.

I really liked this! It hit hard as a trans guy, for sure. It’s fantastical but grounded and the characters are great. I will be picking up volume 2 ASAP.

A great story that puts a transman's coming out experience at the center. It does a good job of explaining gender dysphoria to a teen audience and has a beautiful artwork. At times, the story feels as if it is meandering and could have benefitted from being a touch shorter. I wish I would preferred this to be a single volume rather than duology.

It's a fun, queer, take on the "magical girl" genre. It feels like it is definitely made for a younger crowd looking for validation in their identity, which is a great thing to have exist.
