So good! I love Harbinder as a character. Can’t wait for more in this series

This is the third book in the Harbinder Kaur series. I really like the detective and the way Griffiths writes, but this one is the best yet.  Very clever and I like the way it jumps between character perspectives. I’m on to book four in the set now. I hope they’ll be more!

The main character in this series is Harbinder Kaur, a gay, Sikh female detective inspector of Indian descent living on London. This is the third in the series, as Harbinder has now been promoted and is investigating a murder in a highly publicized case. A group of friends attend their twenty first reunion, where on of them, an MP named Gary, is murdered. The group includes another MP named Henry, an actress, Izzy, a rock star, Chris, a police officer, Cassie, and Anna, a teacher. This group of personalities supplies many red herrings. The book is well written and hard to put down. I highly recommend this series and look forward to the next installment. Thanks to Edelweiss for the ARC.

This was a solid mystery. I liked it more than i expected. I did think it was a tad drawn out. The Murderer was a surprise but I’m not sure if i loved that because it was kind of out of left field. I did find it tad confusing keeping up with the characters. But it was an interesting read.
