Love me a Cinderella story!! 3.5 Cute, playful palette cleaner! This book moves through such wildly different settings and characters. Rainy Sheffield. Old London. Mediterranean sea. Italian island. The visual world-building is great. The characters and adventures are fun and light. Total escapism for the win!

Fran Cooper is stuck in a rut, her fiancé Stew couldn’t seem less interested in her and when the opportunity to be a celeb assistant comes up she takes a leap of faith. It’s taken me a little while to find the time to finish this glorious book but as soon as I found a couple of hours I flew through it. It may have dethroned One In A Million as my favourite. It’s funny, warm and a wonderful contemporary read. One last request PLEASE can we see Evan again

3.8 First off, Stew is a POS! This book was so sweet, it's what almost everyone dreams of: being like a celebrity for one night. One thing I loved about this book is how Fran grew. At first she was the yes girl who thought of everyone needs before hers. At the end, I loved how she got the confidence boost she deserved.

50+ pages in and it's a chore to read. I don't find heroine likable and the build-up is taking WAY too long. I see the hand of the author too strongly and the humor isn't that great... meh.

I recommend the author's book [b:One in a Million|33026840|One in a Million|Lindsey Kelk|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1530019339l/33026840._SY75_.jpg|53682729] instead.

After Discovering Lindsey Kelk’s writing recently I knew that I needed another fix to end the month and this one was the perfect choice with the perfect escapism book & once again left me in stitches laughing throughout the book. It’s safe to say that Kelk knows how to right a realistic romance book and I already can’t wait for my next fix from her! This was the perfect Cinderella retelling

Fran Cooper works as an administrative assistant for a temporary agency. She mostly works for CEO’s and corporate clients who need an administrative assistant for short term jobs. She gets a last-minute assignment to assist a mysterious person, and when she arrives, she finds out its superstar, singer Juliette. Also, she must travel with her on a yacht in the Mediterranean Sea and make sure she goes to the Crystal Ball, a very exclusive charity event on the Island a Panera.

This was a book that I could escape to each day and get lost in the story and just enjoy the descriptions and then watch all the events play out in my head bade for an immersive experience. The Characters where well developed and felt super realistic and well throughout out. It was all tastefully done and kept me entertained throughout! If you’re in the mood for a light-hearted romantic contemporary, I would recommend this.

I adored this book, I absolutely loved the characters and there interactions.

Fran's job sounds so cool and the things that she gets to do is exciting to read about.

I really liked the relationships in this book and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Fran and how she handled things, she was so relatable.

I will definitely read another book by Lindsey Kelk and recommend to friends and family.
