Herein are several exciting, intriguing stand-alone Batman stories adding depth and color to Snyder's New 52 Gotham City.

I'm a fan of Greg Capullo and Scott Snyder, but they didn't have much on this book. Not my favorite. Plus Batman spends a lot of time pouting and "grieving"

Some very good stories, but most are in more fitting collections. The only new one, #34, is actually pretty interesting, with some good social commentary and fitting artwork.

Hodgepodge of stories from various earlier storyline in Snyder's run. Not really one offs, had to figure out where they fit with very little background. Thought I would like the issues dealing with the death of Damian most, but they were the worst. Best was the issues prior to Zero Year. Art was a real mixed bag, with a whole lot of different artists.

Mostly these are one off stories, but there's enough connecting tissue that I would consider it an important part of the New 52 run. There's important Harper Row material as well as dealing with Bruce's emotional state after
Spoiler Damien's death.
Plus a change of pace is nice.

It’s a book that collects material between story arcs. Kinda forgettable, honestly.

This is a weird mash-up of disjointed stories that show the weaknesses and frustrations of the new 52. There are a couple of bright points in the book (like the Anchoress) but more low points (like Batman and Superman fighting what amounts to a ghost. If I didn't love Batman so much, I'd probably stop reading this series right now.

As per usual, I enjoy Snyder's special curlicues on the Batman stories. Some of these are good, the Arkham one is really good and the teasers to Zero Year are great callbacks to one of my favorite arcs.

Not bad. Oddly enough the Synder stories were my least favorite of this random bunch (I love Snyder). I liked Duggan as usual, and Bennett was great as well.

3.5 - 4 for me as this was a compliation of stories as opposed to one solid story arc. Some of the stories were better than others, but the collected group was enjoyable
