Cuidemos a las letras, recordemos a la historia. Si no lo hacemos nosotros como sociedad, estamos condenados a perderlo todo en el fuego

2/5/11 - 3 stars - I didn't dislike this book but I didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to. I'm not sure if it was because I didn't sit and read it in one big chunk or a couple of chunks. I would get confused trying to tell if Montag was day-dreaming about what was happening or it was really happening. I think I started to enjoy it more when he got out of the city. I also liked that it was saying that the people started giving up on books before the government got involved. I'm not sure there is a book that I could hold in my memory.

8/28/11 - 4 stars - I just reread this for book group. I liked it better the second time around. Maybe it was because I could read it in larger chunks of time. But I seemed to find more in it.

I do not know why it took me so long to get to this book. A must read. Still relevant almost 70 years later. Perhaps even more relevant than ever in this age of screens and division.

I’m glad I finally got round to reading this book. It’s a small one, but it definitely packs a punch. I can see why it is recommended so frequently, along with 1984, and Brave New World. I found Bradbury’s book far more optimistic than the others though. Perhaps it is because of the short length that it infers more of an idea (and a hope) rather than a complete and more intricate world. For me, this was a strength. It leaves you with ideas and questions, rather than answers. It expects you to find/explore them yourself.

This ended and i didn't know how it did. Though I got bored at some bits, the moral is important ! I enjoyed the first and second part more than the third one.
