It reminds me of that meme ‘You crazy girl, you crazy’ 😅

I finally sat down to read this book. Wow, book banning and censorship hit hard anyway, but the way in which Fahrenheit 451 covers it was astonishing 😳

3.5 out of 5 stars for me on this one. I find classics a little bit hard to contend with, but this one was well-written and so CURRENT! Thank you ✨

When I read this book, I couldn't help but wondering when it will be finished. The premise is unique—how books were seen as sins and how people just start burning books—but the words that are used in this book aren't enjoyable enough for me to read and keep a long span of attention. I keep realizing how I zoned out in the middle of reading each paragraph, wondering what is the real meaning behind each word.

This book is probably more suitable or enjoyable for you who like philosophical talks. If you're patient enough, the story gets a bit better at the end.

I enjoyed the writing style a lot. The visual symbolism throughout was easy to paint a picture, and the way the words flowed was satisfying. But the actual message felt pretentious, considering the only two prominent women in this are a manic pixie dream girl (a teenager at that) and a ditzy housewife? No thanks.

How do you get so empty? He wondered. Who takes it out of you?
