This book gives another well detailed in depth analysis of the world of a teenage girl who has gone through immense trauma. It talks about the coping with day to day life and the way she felt throughout the corse of the year. I liked the way it explained how she felt about certain things and the conclusion that one day she just felt like she was ready to enter back into society. This book is pretty sad but hopeful overall. Im glad that this book ended on a good note and Melinda got her justice even if most women and girls now a day don’t get their justice. If Laurie ever writes a sequel I will definitely be picking it up as soon as possible
