First book in the Noble Pass Affaire series, but you can read them in any order.
Ivy is a kindergarten teacher. She is the epitome of the good girl but this doesn't seem to be good enough for her parents. Both high-flying academics, they look down at her chosen career. Her friends are her family now but she may just disown them- they've set her up for a week in a resort competition. One slight problem... they didn't mention the suite mate she had to share with.
Cole is a firefighter and he and his sister are close but he may just strangle her this time. She's lured him to the resort by neglecting to tell him about the "date" he's going to have for the week!! He's still reeling from the loss of his friend on the job and he's not interested in company and especially not the female variety.
But when he finally meets Ivy, he realises that his icy façade might just melt!! No spoliers in this review but this book has something for everyone. Thrills, romance, passion and a slightly deranged ex!!!! Cole and Ivy are brilliantly real characters and you find yourself swept up in the story and cheering them on. I loved the little mentions of the other books in the series mentioned in all the books I've so far read, lovely little in-jokes!!! And i really want to see Cole's sister and Ivy's friends maybe get their own wee stories!!
