Received an ARC in exchange for an honest review...Another FABULOUS book in the Boston Underworld Series!! I was hooked immediately reading Crow and Reaper was no different.. Once day read, didn't want to put it down!? SO much more than just a love story, this series/book is packed with everything from hardcore Mafia dealings, torture and revenge, to scenes that had me bawling in happy tears. Some people are just meant to be together and everything falls into place. That is how I would describe Ronan and Sasha... Two very "different" people who are immediately bonded on some unseen level. They calm and comfort one another like no else has or can, they understand just what the other needs, without pushing. It's beautiful really... Ronan, that quiet misunderstood man we first met in Crow, has finally shed some of his protective layers and, for lack of a better word, blossomed into the man we now see. A man with a purpose and a plan.. To do everything in his power to protect the woman he loves. This book was absolutely incredible- LOVING this series!!! I cringed at the violence, cried my happy tears and surely got a good laugh with some of these guys and their comments.. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend book / author & series!!!

Synopsis:

Sasha.

He’s dark and mysterious. Quiet and lethal.
An Irish mobster.
Pure sin wrapped up in a beautiful package.
But there’s also something off about him.
He doesn’t feel anything. He shows no emotions.
Sometimes I question his humanity.
He hasn’t spoken to me in two years. Not a single word.
But we share a secret, he and I.
And if it ever comes out, I have no doubt in my mind…
He won’t have a problem killing me too.

Ronan.

I’ve slain for her. I’ll do it again.
When it comes to Sasha, there isn’t a line I won’t cross.
I watch her. She doesn’t know it.
She thinks I hate her. Sometimes, I think I might too.
But I’m always there, lurking in the shadows.
Craving her. Trying to keep the beast within at bay.
I’ll keep her safe. I’ll slaughter anyone who tries to hurt her.
The only thing I can’t do… is protect her from myself.

OH MY GOD........
I love this book.I fell in love with it on the first chapter itself.

After reading Crow,I was curious about all the characters and their lives, how would they move forward, who will we get to see next. But out of all of them,I was curious about Ronan the most.
And I wanted to see how the author could write the Reaper in a way that would grip our interestt.

But after seeing that blurb and reading the entire book,I have to say that I fell in love with Ronan.
I saw his pain and the darkness he carried. How he was able to do all the things in the mob.
My emotions were all over the place.

"Damaged souls have their own beauty. A dark, terrifying beauty. The same type of beauty I recognize in Ronan." ~ Sasha

And Sasha was a strong lead, she goes through so much in the book but she stays true to her character. And the way she fights to be with him.Amazing.

Ronan, the biggest fucking liar of them all. Pretending like he doesn’t give a shit. Pretending like he doesn’t see the way I look at him. Or the way he looks at me for that matter. Like he wishes I would disappear. I’m his biggest regret.
And still, my heart beats for him.

Reaper didn't just have romance in it,it had a story line that interlinked the characters, all of them in the book.I can see this series going a long way.

Eagerly waiting for book 3!

Im in love with Ronan myself. This beautiful, tarnished man. I love how he earned what he got. I want to tell you shit but I don't. Go find it out by yourself.

Wow, this book! This man?! How can someone be such a killer and in the same time caring, sweet, protective, swooney. WTH? I really didn‘t see this coming. I didn‘t read the caption so i wouldn‘t get spoiled and it was the best decision.
And the heroine? Together they were everything. Alone they were just bland. They both had hard pasts, he more than she. But the love between them? I read it within a day. I think that‘s reason enough to say: Read it!

Ronan & Sasha: Two lost Souls find each other and become whole... I love it!

Ronan Fitzpatrick (aptly nicknamed Reaper) is an Irish killing machine. Raised in a training camp for the majority of his life. In light of this, he never learned the basic skill of communication and the gravity of experienced emotions. Especially when it comes to the opposite sex. Ronan is a loner and a man of few words. The object of his affection is a burned-out exotic dancer named Sasha, who dances at the club, Slainte, where Ronan serves the underboss, Crow (hero in book one). Ronan has always been in love with Sasha but much to his chagrin, doesn't know how to show it.

Poor Sasha met the wrong guy and ended up in the wrong situation. After being a tool to be used by her ex and one of the other bigwigs that patronize the club, she has all but given up on love and life. However, she longs to be with the silent enforcer who won't even speak to her. But circumstances push the two into each other's world where Ronan will do everything can to protect Sasha and ends up getting more trouble than he bargained for.

REAPER was a book that I'd had in my Kindle collection for a long time and finally made its way to the top of my pile. Now that I've read it, I could kick myself for not reading it sooner. It was amazing! What I loved most about this book is seeing the relationship between Ronan and Sasha grow into this epic love. They both healed each other's scars, and I cannot remember when I have rooted for a couple this hard! The book had the right touch of sweetness to offset the violence. If you love stories where ordinary people in tough situations triumph, I highly recommend this book! I guarantee, Ronan will steal your heart and Sasha will make you cry tears of joy. Awesome love story!

Happy Reading!

This might be my favourite book in the series. There's just something about emotionally bankrupt rich men.
