HOLY NEW SMOKE! This third book in the series is wilder than the tribes being studied in book 2! I thoroughly enjoyed it and feel like it's the best one of the series (so far). 

**SPOILERS AHEAD**

I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed with how things started out in this book, but Westerfeld really pulled through and gave us a great ending. And while some of the things that happened towards the end were sad (RIP ZANE 😢), I think that was the only catalyst that would have worked to get Tally back on the track she really needs to be on. And I like knowing she's out there, guarding against a regression while still allowing people to really be free. 

I'm looking forward to the final book AND the spin-off series.

I liked this book more then I thought I would. The start was pretty rocky but by the time I got into it was becoming much better!

I’m rereading all the books I own, and this one was the hardest for me to read out of this series so far. I know that it was important to the plot that her brain was wired to see herself as better than everyone else, but it was still slightly difficult to get through because of that. However, it was an interesting story, and I did still generally enjoy reading it. I’m going to keep this book as well.
