Wonderful first book in the series, that introduces a world filled with unique characters. Characters are very strong and bring great personality to the story. The story itself is captivating and really fun to read.

The shifter world has always fascinated me, but all too often are we thrown into bears and wolves. So, seeing a Falcon Shifter stirred something in me.

I am pleased with the overall roundness of this novel. I enjoyed the chemistry between are characters the growth that occurred between them on their short time frame. While the story proceeded at a fast pace it seemed Wilson was still able to conjure up a bit of a cat and mouse chase. And the chase was thoroughly enjoyed.

I can see this being a series that could easily be swept away if not handled correctly, but Wilson seems to have honed in on her craft. Setting it up book one with one conclusion while leaving the door open for a following story.

The added twist of the townspeople was somewhat predictable but still as the unraveling happened it flow meticulously from one scene into the next. I think what surprised me most thought as the open forum between Connor and Tatum. While Tatum was expecting, she asked questions, she showed an emotion other than lust.

While most authors I read in the shifter world seem to just cave or go with the flow Tatum didn't. And that was what I loved about this the most. The authentic emotions that were expressed.
