Again, similar to my review for #5, it almost seems like Anne is being put down a lot as opposed to George who is a boy and is amazing and stuff like that. I am keeping an open mind in that she is the youngest and siblings tease each other a lot, but something feels off.

I also have some feelings about how kids who aren't the famous five are treated. Edgar was called pathetic, but Nobby and (kid from this book) were considered pitiful/need a break. Maybe because Edgar did make use of his situation and tease them like a lot?

Also, Alf the fisherman's boy from previous books has been renamed to James. Was super disconcerting for me, and I wondered if because it's a kid's book, they thought no one would notice.

Revisiting my all time favorite series as a child. Rereading them as an adult not only takes just an hour or two, but it is also a nice 'breather' from your day.

This book made me the most emotional among the ones I read BY FAR idk why. Maybe it's bc I have a fat crush on Uncle Quentin, there's something hot about being a scientist, anger issues AND wanting to do good. Plus he was like actually involved. It's a shame we will NEVER again hear about his secret formula everyone worked so hard to save. I haven't remembered this book as well as the others which certainly made for a very interesting read.
