I liked—not loved—every illustration, except "Y."

This is a 2nd book of alphabet books by Stephen who won the Caldecott for Alphabet City. He uses everyday objects to come up with letters around a school. It’s a simple concept, still it’s fun to realize these everyday objects do look like letters and we quickly see them on the wordless page.
The nephew thought this was a least interesting and quick. He said he never thought of a banister being a K. There was no story to make up, we just talked about the letters. He gave it 3 stars.

It is always fun and a challenge for Neo to find letters in everyday pictures within a school setting!
