This is one of the worst books I’ve ever read. Not because it was bad but because it was so gross and detailed in a way that is just viscerally unnerving. Impressive writing but fucking hell.

PSA: if you are a pregnant woman, and at the stage where you can feel your baby moving… wait until they are born before picking this in up. Learn from my mistake!

If you are on the hunt for a tense and morbid book to read - look no further. Lord of the Flies meets your most disgusting nightmares. I devoured this in a day because I NEEDED answers. This book was worth the heebie-jeebies!
