I loved this book so much!
Jean Meltzer is such a wholesome writer and I really appreciate the way she incorporates invisible illnesses into her books. This is the second book I’ve read of hers (Kissing Kosher was first) and they’ve both been so relatable.

Cute and chaste. A little zany at times ( all the friends from middle school Jewish camp come back and someone dresses as a giant matza ball and is involved in a police chase...), But it also has a spiritual depth that I appreciated. Overall, I enjoyed it, and love seeing Jewish characters represented in romance.

I really *wanted* to love this book, and I did for the first half. Then…. It got weird. Characters behaved in outlandish ways that felt more like a bad rom-com. I’ve read a lot of other romance that was more realistic and authentic.
