While Modesitt did an amazing job of jumping around the history of Recluse, I got really attached to the characters in Legacies. So I tried. I gave it a shot. But I did not like the new characters introduced and will not continue the series. It was so long ago I don't remember how far I got into the book, but I know that I tried again recently and didn't make it much further in the book than I did the first time.
