Very interesting. There are some passages that I found particularly profound. But there seems to be a juxtaposition in the book: on Pala, half of the things that different from the rest of the world are light and spiritual, ad some are very dark. I am still figuring out what the overall point the author was trying to make is.

Couldn't finish it, I read about 60% of the books and still didn't find the plot.
