was interesting to hear from adam’s perspective, especially his observations of juliette, rather than just hearing what’s going on inside her mind. i adore adam’s love for james (and i adore james). i feel for his conflict but i’ve kind of turned on adam now, kenji however i love sm and hope the next novella is from his perspective!
Moderate: Gun violence, Violence, Vomit, Police brutality, Murder, and War
Minor: Child death, Death, Mental illness, Blood, Kidnapping, Grief, Mass/school shootings, and Injury/Injury detail

I will say, having already read book 3, I wasn’t thrilled having Adam’s perspective. Especially, considering I’m a Warner fan. I found myself getting really mad toward Adam though.
He called Juliette weak a number of times in different ways. Even saying that Castle and Kenji were “always blowing smoke up her ass.”
Juliette’s diary gets me every time though.

Graphic: Gun violence and War
