Okay, so I waited to write a review for the whole series. Let me tell you… I read this whole series in two weeks. Many late nights reading.. many times I think my fiancé was a little upset I was reading instead of spending time with him.. (oops

Rating:
5 Stars

I have been waiting for this book to come out since April and if I could give That Forever a rating over 5 stars I would. I couldn’t put it down! This book made me laugh, cry, and just made me feel a whole bunch of other emotions. That Forever is officially one of my favourite books. I’ve only read Chase and Dani’s story but I’m for sure going to read the other books in this series. I really hope this isn’t the end. I 100% recommend.

-Part of the That Boy series. Book 3 for Chase and Devaney. (That Summer (1) That Promise (2))
-Chase has decided to go to college a semester early. He is going to be playing football in the fall and wants to get a head start practicing with the team. This is Dani’s second semester of college, and she is in a sorority. Chase and Devaney have such busy schedules that they don’t see much of each other. With the added stress of school and their extracurricular activities they are both stressed. Chase’s mom help build a condo right off campus and is where Dani, Chase, Haley, and Damon will be staying once they all get to college. Chase and Dani decide to move in while still letting it appear that they live on campus. Dani doesn’t think the sorority life is for her and Chase is second guessing his decision to play football at all. The other team members all calling him Hype, and he doesn’t think he is living up to the potential he had in high school. Chase and Dani talk about getting married because they have been best friends forever and they just started dating and can’t imagine spending their life with anyone else. After the semester is over, they go on vacation to the Ozarks where they went and first got together (That Summer). Chase proposes to Dani on their first night and she says yes. She is given the option to have an engagement party, a wedding, or for it to just be a grand opening party. Dani decides on a wedding. So, just two days later Dani and Chase get married at the place they fell in love as a couple. I did not expect this in any sorts, but I loved reading all of it. I’m carouse to see where their life ends up in a few years. I like how they learned how to communicate with one another from the previous books. Chase and Dani grew up a lot from their first book.
-Rating: 9/10

I am such a sucker for this series. I love all the characters so much. Chase and Dani have been best friends since they were little. Over the last two books we have seen them become more than friends during their summer in the Ozarks, we watched everything crumble and we watched them try (and even fail) at having a long distance relationship. Now Dani and Chase are officially a couple, and at college together. Of course they think this is going to magically make everything better. But now they have to juggle all of their college responsibilities on top of their relationship. Chase is learning what it is like to not be top dog on the football team but in typical Chase fashion, he does what he can to prove himself. Dani is so happy to have Chase on campus, but when Chase is also adored by other woman will Dani become insecure?

Chase is perfecting the whole boyfriend thing! He is absolutely swoony! I loved seeing them finally get to be together and just enjoy each other. I know Jillian is more YA but That Summer and That Promise had a lot more open door s3x scenes where this was all closed door. Of course this book wouldn’t be complete without having the entire family together and wow what an occasion to bring them together! This was a beautiful way to end Chase and Dani’s story. I love that Jillian is continuing the series but I already miss Chase and Dani!

The Perfect Ending

Wow!! This trilogy was so amazing and the That Forever was cherry on the cupcake I needed for it! The love these characters have for each other oozes off the pages. The care that Chase took in his grand plan was amazing. I LOVE that he had the help of her Mom and wasn’t afraid to tell her what he wanted for Dani. I love Dani and how much she has grown up over three books and that she finally followed her heart. Loved this book. To Cupcake Dreams

Wow.. I laughed, I swooned, and I cried.. HAPPY Tears. I couldn’t have wished for a better ending to Chase and Dani’s love story. Although I hope it’s not really the end. I would love to see what the future holds for them! I absolutely loved getting glimpses back to Phillip and Jadyn’s love story. & I freaking adore Damon and hope he gets his own love story some day. Not only are the main characters amazing the supporting characters are as well! That Boy series is what got me back into reading over 6 years ago. It will always hold a special place in my heart. & will forever be my favorite books that I will continue to read over and over time and time again. 10/10 Recommend!
