I loved this book. I expected it to be more critical of the Mormon church, but it was actually really objective. It Showed the good and the bad sides of the Mormon religion. I loved the way it was written, the way the emotions were described was almost poetic. This book made me feel so many different emotions. It was funny, sad and emotional. There were parts that made me mad, Especially what Sebastian did to Tanner near the end but overall, a really beautiful and powerful book.

As a bisexual who lives in Utah, this book is absolutely amazing and really sums up what it's like to be both queer and not lds while living in Utah. It's heartbreaking, and funny, and painfully real. 10/10 for anyone to read, absolutely required if you're the odd one out in a deeply religious area.

I loved this book, although there were quite a few scenes involving slut-shaming that were never really resolved. The main character could have been much more loveable if it weren't for that.
