Again, the prose in this book is stunning. So much lovely poetry and creative writing. Rachel Gillig is a beautiful writer.

An excellent book from start to finish! Such a compelling sequel, had me hooked from the very first page, and went straight into the action without all the preamble from the first book. Every character had a great and thought out storyline, and again I was so utterly enchanted by the dark fairytale of Blunder.

I’m echoing so many on this one, but THIS is exactly how you write a sequel. A breathtaking fantasy with sharp teeth and claws that captivate you and keep you reading and wanting more. 

I cared for the side characters in book one and was able to love them in book two. Not having to question whether the main characters were going to remain steadfast after all they endured and instead get to watch them grow and learn from each other while the side characters get their own storyline? Flawless. Give me more choice fantasy reads like this. 👏🏼🫶🏼
