I don’t know how to explain what I mean that well but if you go into this book with low expectations, it actually makes it quite enjoyable. Basically just a entertaining read that you don’t have to think much about to get through. It sorta reads like a fanfic but that’s what I was expecting. Also I don’t think having the book set in high school was a good thing…maybe it would have been better off set in college.

If you want strong melodrama with angsty teenagers who seem to be in a school that has no protection for its students this one is for you. I couldn't get on with this because of how ridiculous it felt at times. I couldn't empathise with the protagonists, they both seemed insufferable. The side characters seemed like caricatures of high school students.

I couldn't figure out why Misha suddenly had such hatred for Ryen in particular (maybe I skipped through that explanation)

Overall just not for me.
