Luther is an absolute jerk in the book and several parts of it very much did not age well, but Nora is hilarious as well as ~spoiler~ the scramble after Blair calls to say she's coming home with Enrique. The last act really redeemed it for me. I really didn't think I would ever reread it up to that point because I just couldn't stand Luther, but now I think I may read it every year for the holidays.
Minor: Misogyny and Racism
Luther is a very dated man written to be a "bro's bro" kind of guy and a lot of the book is from his point of view. Just keep that in mind. The movie toned him down quite a bit. I was very surprised by some of his pov.laura6891's review against another edition
