Aunque me ha gustado y creo que puede resultar una buenísima introducción al feminismo (lo recomendaré, sin duda, a mucha gente), me ha decepcionado un poco. Opino que se queda muy en lo anecdótico y superficial, esperaba mucho más.

There is not a person alive who would not benefit from reading this book.

Helpful to hear about culture in Nigeria. I think a good basic essay I'll re ommend for folks who complain about feminism but care about people. Preaching to the choir if you are already a feminist.

We Should All Be Feminists is an essay everyone should read. In this short book, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie writes about her own experience as she grew up in Nigeria, and how gender discrimination has changed her life. Not only that, Adichie breaks down gender, pay gap, the differences between raising boys and girls and culture. The perfect starter read for anyone who wants to learn more about feminism, and why we should all be one.

It’s like this: humans shape culture. We have the capacity to do that. So why don’t we shape culture to reflect that 52% of the population is female?

Great introduction and conversation starter to feminism. Gives good insights into personal experiences of Adichie as well as general issues of society.
For my taste a bit too short. Could have achieved more. Still does a great job in what its supposed to.
