Negribu, negribu, negribu atgriezties reālajā pasaulē. Labi, ka man tuvumā ir mežs,kur var lasīt pēdas, redzēt lapsas un kādreiz vēl sastapt stirnas.

Very fast paced, exciting historical fiction. Set in the bronze age with active goddess and a dolphin as an active character, this book feels quite modern and is a great read-alike for the Lightning Thief. Parents might be concerned about some fairly gruesome parts, so this and would be a good recommendation for 5th grade and up.

Engaging writing but a plot that promises much and delivers very little.

Harry Potter and Torak is my favorite kids books characters. I really love the Wolf brother series.

But this series is..not that good.. The story is too "simple"? I mean compared to the amazing story in wolf brothers.. Oh man I'm not good at reviewing things in English.
What I try to say is..nothing much happens in this "gods and warriors" series. They are always in "islands" trapped..and I feel claustrophobic. We have Pira who is trapped in her mothers home. We have Hylas trapped in an island as a slave etc..

When Wolf brothers was a very original story this gods and warriors are very..plain compared to WB.

I'm not going to rate this because I got to the chapter from a Dolphin's perspective and realised that this may be just a tad young for me. I won't knock the book down because I didn't realise it was aimed at a much younger audience.

I was disappointed in gods and warriors. it was touted as a percy jackson readalike, but was absolutely nowhere near similar. it was a historical adventure, and i'm sad to say not a really good one. parts don't make sense (maybe in the future books pieces will fall into place, but I hate that so much), it doesn't flow well, and I just didn't enjoy the story. the plot had a bunch of tiny holes that kept popping up and jarring me from the flow of things. that made it difficult to concentrate on what I was trying to read.
