Book club pick. Even though thriller/suspense are not my favorite at the moment.. I still thought it was a good book.

It had a good plot and the little twist was unexpected. I guessed who the killer was BUT it was still suspenseful and how they were found was good and kept my attention. It was a fast paced towards the end.

Loving the little Sam+Kimberley possible romance that is hinted at. Looking forward to seeing if that continues in the next book.

The main character is so arrogant. I bet she said her official title “Chief Deputy Kimberly King” 20 times throughout the story.

This book was good, but not great in my opinion. The first 100 some pages where nothing but fluff and too much world building that wasn’t necessary. For being a “Totally heart-stopping crime Thriller” I would have thought the action would have started right in the beginning not at page 135 out of 332

Good quick read

I really enjoyed this one. I look forward to seeing what Kimberly does next. I hope this series gets a decent amount of books. I really enjoy the authors writing style. Hopefully we get to find out who the serial killer from NY was!
