Loved the illustrations in this one! It gives kids a voice, introduces them to weather predictions and shows that we might not always have the same talents as our parents and that's okay.

I can't wait to share this book with my students! This book brings weather forecasting a fun, modern twist. Mira stinks at predicting futures, but she certainly can predict the weather! Readers learn about different weather tools and how they are used and follow along as Mira uses these and her observations to predict the weather for a surfing contest.
