raw and sharp and so, so lovely in places. incredible work. and i cried over it last night, because of these lines:
"whether it's the day you burn
more brightly than the sun
or the nights you collapse into my lap
your body broken into a thousand questions,
you are the most beautiful thing i've ever seen.
I will love you when you are a still day.
I will love you when you are a hurricane."

Incredible book of poems. Gut wrenching and tear jerking in places. Hauntingly real. Writes poetry in the exact manner that I enjoy!

Dear Hannah,
Stop reading poetry in public. Beautiful words make you cry.
This collection of poems are by far the most raw, and honest I've ever read. I can't get enough--I don't think I will ever get enough.

I will pass this thin little chapbook around the circle of those I love who have known love and all that comes afterward. Thanks, Clemente von Radics. Keep writing honest poems.

This is the first poetry book I've finished reading. I like the first half a lot. I found bits and pieces in the 2nd half a bit too cliche (and even narcissistic). But in general it is amazing. I've already ordered another book by Clementine von Radics and I can't wait to read it.

There's no denying that Clementine von Radics' poems are as raw and emotional as you can get. Love her choices and arrangement of words. For me, however, this is a hit & miss book. I like the poems in it but not all resonates with me. There are a few that I walk through without knowing what exactly it was that I just read, and even after several rereads it didn't grapple me - this however is no fault of the author. Then there are also some that just came right out of the book and was so engaging that I reread it many many times just to satiate my hunger - monster/crime scene being a good example of this. Therefore, I still have to rate this book as signaturely hers.
