This is an unusual read for me but given that it was co-written by Yolanda Sealey-Ruiz whose work I very much admire, I had to pick it up. I'm very glad I did. This book showcases some practical ways for teachers to dismantle systems of white supremacy in their classrooms and take up culturally sustaining practices for all of their students. I am still thinking through some of the questions that the book poses -- the focus on digital spaces in particular gave me a lot of food for thought and I can tell this is a book I might turn to regularly to cite or review.
