It was better than the movie! I HATED Miranda even more. And was there a black girl in the movie? There was one in the book...
The book was also encouraging to me as it relates to me being an aspiring writer.

I enjoyed this novel even more than the movie based on it (which I quite liked). Perhaps it simply made me feel better about the work I do; compared to the main character's crappy job, my jobs are pretty easy. It wasn't life-changing or anything, but I did find it a quick, easy read that kept my attention and made me want to finish it.

Not the best written, in the literary sense, but it's a fun beach-read. Good story and you really empathize with the main character. We've all been there.

I remember this was one of the first books I read when I started Goodreads. Solid read.

It’s entertaining but I think the movie is better. At the least it has a stronger dramatic arc and the dialogue is better. A fair amount of plot differences too.

Wow. I had to force myself to finish this book. While it wasn't hard to read, it was hard to feel anything for the characters. I usually like a book much more than the movie made from it, but in this case, the movie was far better.
