Not sure how to feel about this one; there is a bit of a reading curve. Skews very childish; might be difficult for adults to get through. Would have preferred better art style.

The first half was a bit difficult to enjoy--it was heavily reliant on Japanese puns and the stories were so short that there wasn't much more than the joke--no characterizations, no story, not even much atmosphere. The second half improved dramatically though--slightly longer stories, super sweet moments with and between the characters, more time with side characters, and so much more of the sweet, lovely, friendly vibes that I was hoping for.

The art, of course, is stunning. The panels are really well-designed, the translations are super clear and tidy, and the whole package is excellent. I'll definitely be picking up future volumes when I want something easy and sweet.

This is a great book for someone who’s trying to learn Japanese. In every short story they illustrate visually different words that sound similar and for visual learners it may be helpful for them to learn different vocabulary words wrapped in a cute animal cafe story.

I loved this so much! This series is slowly becoming my favorite manga atm. Read this if you like animals (especially zoo animals) and coffee. I think the concept is so cute! a polar bear working and running a coffee shop! Polar bear is so creative too.
I love the art style and it is so cute and creative.
