I didn't know much about the book when I started, so I was a little surprised at the format. But as I got used to it, I really started to enjoy it. I have no idea how the author made me so invested and in love with this fictional rock and roll band, but I'm so glad I did.

This is truly one of the most captivating books I have ever read. I had been going through a reading     slump before this and this is the book that made me want to read everything and anything. I     finished it in 2 days and read it on my solo trip in Nice. I wish I'd read it when I wash lent it years ago. That book resonated with me in a way I haven't felt in a long time and I will always recommend it. The oral history format is not for everyone, but I enjoyed it and thought it made my connection to the characters so much greater. They were all dynamic, flawed, and relatable which made the story hit so much closer to home.

After reading Seven Husbands, I just had to read Daisy Jones & the Six! Especially since the show had been out for a while, I felt that I had to read the book before starting the show. The writing style of this one made it an even faster read and I couldn't put it down! The differing views of events made the story refreshing while keeping you ready for how it was all going to come to an end. I loved how each character took to fame differently and while we know that there are two stronger characters (Daisy and Billy), everyone still has an equal amount of plot in the book. The realism to it certainly drove the intrigue, but you get equally invested in these characters.

I am now at the point where I can confidently say TJR is one of the most talented authors I've ever read. I can't comprehend how this woman writes like this. This entire novel is writting like an interview spread, so you never get inner dialogue or objectivity, and yet every single character in this book is fleshed out better than some main characters I've read in other books.

Daisy Jones & The Six is the kind of read, that once it grabs you, it doesn't let you go. The plot is riveting, the characters flawed and realistic, and the payout is amazing. I can't wait for Carrie Soto is back and to finish this universe with a bang.
