I was (obviously) initially interested but have become too put off by poor writing to continue. The last straw for me was the paragraph on page 96 where DeSilva says "Let me explain" when what he evidently means is "Let me recap this thing I already explained two pages ago." I kept running into grating little passages like this that made me stop reading and experience moments of minor crisis wherein I internally debated whether this was actually a problem with the book or whether I was perhaps being a bit overly-pedantic. And what I eventually realized was, it doesn't matter! What matters is that, for one reason or another, I have become aware that this book has been sucking my life force away, or, to quote Brandon Taylor, this book gave me Lyme disease. Therefore I am divesting from it and putting myself on a path back to good reading health by moving on.

Very well written and a wonderful description of how application of the scientific method has refined man’s understanding of our evolution with a particular focus on walking.
