You have to know that I WILL LOVE anything and everything that happens to do with Devil's Night (side note: Thank you to Penelope Douglas), so how could this masterpiece of a book be any different? That's right, it simply can't. Because the math must be mathing. And whenever Rina Kent is involved, nothing dissapoints. She's my favourite author after all. And one's favourites can't do no wrong.

Btw, THE ENDING 😭😭😭😭. It's perfection incarnate < 3. The way that we share a love for happy ever afters, always brings me the uttermost joy. Because if that wouldn't be guaranteed in Rina Kent's books, you'd find me screaming, crying, throwing up and curled up in my bed 24/7 (more than you'd already find me doing now, with all of her absolute genius plottwists). So, this is just 1 more argument that explains why she's my favourite author.

Now onto my love letter:
Dearest Rina Kent, I must thank you with all of my heart for all you do as an author. I didn't expect to become mesmerised with your writing and therefore read ALL of your published work, but life is nothing but full of surprises. And I absolutely couldn't be happier. If you are ever having a bad day, I'll have you remember that your work makes my life worth living and I'll forever be grateful for everything you do! I might be of the silent-supporter kind but if there's ever one author who I'll support and defend 'till my last day, it's definitely you < 3.

You have my heart,
Katherine

I love King and Aspen. Their banter. The push and pull. Their chemistry. I love it.

I dnfed around 70 percent in. I just couldn’t stand Kingsley and Aspen really didn’t make it better. I just thought that kingsley was just so misogynistic and really didn’t think about aspen at all. At some point it felt like it was blurrying the lines between actual consentual sex and sa (so i really didn’t enjoy like most of the spicy scenes which is most of the plot). And also i get what wanted to be done with the whole ‘say you are mine thing’ but really i didn’t like how often that was said and i what way. I thought we were over the time where women were the property of men.
And the plot was really not there
I liked Callie though that girl was the best thing in this book
